Examination only sessions are available as an option to be undertaken at our Training Centre in Harlow, Essex.
Examination sessions commence at 10.30.
The City and Guilds 2382-22 examination consists of 60, multiple choice questions and is carried out using the City and Guilds E-Evolve system.
You will complete a tutorial prior to the examination to assist you in navigating the system.
The questions are based on the content of BS7671:2022 the 18th edition of the IET wiring regulations – Part’s 1 through to Part 7, and in addition the 16 appendices.
On completion of the 18th edition examination successful delegates will have been assessed in the following areas:

- An introduction to BS 7671; the Wiring Regulations, and its relationship to other legislation within the electrical industry
- An introduction of how the regulation numbering system works
- How to effectively index and navigate through the Parts and Appendices of BS 7671, including:
- Part 1: Scope, object and fundamental principles
- Part 2: Definitions
- Part 3: Assessment of general characteristics
- Part 4: Protection for safety
- Part 5: Selection and erection of equipment
- Part 6: Inspection and testing
- Part 7: Special installations or locations
- Part 8: Functional requirements
All candidates on this remotely invigilated City and Guilds examination only session, are assessed via 60 multiple choice questions – this is an “open book” examination and is carried out using the computer based City and Guilds e-volve system.
Candidates will be advised of their results shortly after completing the examination.
All candidates that intend to book a City and Guilds 2382-22 is a remote examination only session.
