City and Guilds 2393-10 is regarded as a benchmark qualification for all electricians or for those who are involved in the domestic electrical installation industry. Widely recognised by the main competent person’s scheme providers as the “must have” qualification, City and Guilds 2393-10 covers the Building Regulations requirements that apply specifically to domestic electrical work. In particular, the course looks in depth at specific aspects of the electrical installation work carried out in a property, and the specific areas that are notifiable to local authority building control.
This also includes the “parts” of the Building Regulations, the implementation, procedures that are required to be followed by electricians when installing within a domestic dwelling.
Please note: This course is only applicable to the Building Regulations in England and Wales.
Whilst the course has no formal entry requirements, we do recommend that delegates who wish to attend this course should consider undertaking a 18th edition qualification.
This course will benefit anyone who is involved in either carrying out domestic electrical installations in England and Wales or carrying out any electrical design work.
Successful candidates will gain a nationally recognised qualification
On completion of the course, participants will understand:
- Scope, purpose and structure of the Building Regulations
