The return of 2391!

Posted on

After an absence of 5 years, City and Guilds 2391 makes a much welcomed return……..

About 5 years ago, City and Guilds withdrew the much lauded and loved 2391, which was in turn replaced with a two-part qualification, the 2394 Initial Verification and the 2395 Periodic Inspection.
If we are honest, a lot of electricians and contractors never wanted this change! A comment we used to hear a lot of “why don’t they just leave it alone!” ….and many other comments that we can’t publish here!
So, for once, the powers that be listened and action was taken. So, in mid-2017 the 2391 was given a 21st century make over and has been resurrected with a much-improved pathway:
Youi now have three different course options; 2391-50 Level 3 Award in Initial Verification; 2391-51 Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection. 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing efficiently matches the old 2391, 2394 and 2395, so it has quickly established itself as the ‘must have’ qualification!

Are these qualifications harder to undertake…? what about the assessments?
Any assessment that is linked to a nationally accredited award, which in turn, has the endorsement of all the main players in the industry, isn’t going to be exactly easy!

Total Electrical Training is committed to helping you……. we understand these awards, inside out – we will never try and circumvent your knowledge; in other words, as we have always done…we will look after you!
